For months now my Macbook (2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo) has been suffering from screen flicker.
My Macbook isn't Gen 1 like some of the complaints - but it's also not faring as badly as some of those reports either. My flicker only happens at a certain screen angle. If I change it or even alter it a tiny bit forward then back to the same position it seems to stop the problem.
The computer is almost 2 years old now so I doubt I'll be attempting to get it fixed - I'll just live with the small screen adjustment I have to do every now and then.
Update: the flicker, which seems to be a fast switch between brightness levels, disappears when I put the laptop's brightness level down to two notches below maximum! Interesting...
